Department of War STARBASE (DoW STARBASE) introduces students to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through immersive experiences at military installations, sparking interest in cyber and defense careers. Students participate in project-based learning alongside military and civilian STEM professionals, connecting classroom concepts to real-world national security contexts. The program is administered by the Department and targets students who may not otherwise have access to defense-connected STEM experiences.
